Safety Systems Installed

At Roof Replacement Melbourne, safety is paramount to both our clients and our staff. We install all necessary safety equipment for your project. This may include the installation of fall arrest systems such as scaffolding, safety rails or harness systems. We also make sure that the rest of your home such as walls, lawns and gardens are protected from any potential damage.

Removal of Old Roof

We carefully remove your old roof. This typically includes the removal of all of the old tile or metal sheets, any unusable battens, old flashing and valley irons.  We do our best to recycle as much of the usable materials as possible based on their condition. We then inspect the roof structure and replace any damaged battens as well as the sarking and insulation if required.

Installation of New Roof

We install Colorbond full-length sheets with a profile to suit your roofs pitch and length. We lay the flashing and capping paying special attention to penetration points such as around skylights and flues. Any metal off cuts are taken away out of danger and are disposed of. If you have requested new fascia, gutters and downpipes these are installed in last stage of the roof replacement project.

Final Inspection

Once we have completed the project we do our ‘leave no trace clean-up’ and perform a thorough inspection making sure that the job has been completed to the highest Australian standards.
